on. it seems at the bye week, they were 3-6 and people said, the season was over. well, the eagles have nothing and everything to play for tomorrow when they play the red skins. the season is long over at 4- 10, but not only can they play the role of spoilers and grinch, this could be the last home game that they will play under coach reid. last game, griffin picked apart the eagles defense. the hookup with santana moss was the longest of the day. nick foles has improved as a quarterback. although they only one one game in five starts, this did it in drama sick fashion. you know, no one in the locker room is jump can around, excite that had we are on a win streak and we control our own destiny. everyone is still focused on what we have to do and everybody is still feeling sore from the game. >> a win over the eagles would give the revved skins their first sweep of philly since 2008 and one more win away from making the post season one more win and they will be in for sure and host a home game. >> that's huge. >>> still ahead, the fall jawt continues from the national rifle associa

it shows two revolutionary guard commanders examining what appears to be an intact scan eagle drone. we don't know if it's the one they claim they captured. moments ago a u.s. defense official told barbara starr the u.s. navy has fully accounted for all unmanned vehicles operating in the middle east region. we have the latest developments now from cairo. a u.s. source says that if the iranians do have something, it is not an actively operating u.s. navy drone. what would that mean? could this actually be a fake? >> it could be. it's not clear right now, but iranian officials have a different story. we don't know when or how this u.s. drone was allegedly captured, but you can be sure iran is going to count this as a big intelligence victory over the u.s. you can also be sure they'll use this to portray the u.s. as the aggressor in the region. that's what iran has done for more than three decades. briefly, let's tell you about the reports from state media in iran. reports say iran captured a drone flying over the northern persian gulf waters after it allegedly flew into iranian airspace. this

and kuwait. iran did not say when or where it captured the scan eagle just that it entered iranian air space. we don't have a lot of information besides that. we do know that the navy did lose one of these scan eagle drones back in october, but naval officials say that it went down in the persian gulf, that it broke apart as these drones are designed to do, and that they believe it sank into the persian gulf. jenna. jenna: so, if the iranians do indeed have this unmanned aerial vehicle, what type of information can they get from it? >> reporter: it's a low-cost, low tech drone. basically it's a camera that can transmit pictures via radio waves. it is possible the iranians can get information about what the drone was trying to look at based on its location. that's about it. it's not as nearly sophisticated as the cia drone that went down in iran hr-s year. yo last year. you may remember that video, it had stealth technology and it was kau captured almost intact. the u.s. asked for that drone back and they released pictures of iranian sty inch 'tises studying it. this scan eagle is much less s

, good morning, carol. yeah. last night during the eagles/cowboys sunday night football game, bob costas used his halftime segment to praise an article written by columnist jason whitlock. this was an article that related to the jovan belcher situation that happened in kansas city and gun control. and at the beginning of that segment, bob costas did say that he typically doesn't agree with jason whitlock a lot. jason whitlock is a former kansas city star columnist, currently a fox sport s columnist. he says he doesn't usually like his opinions. in this case, he not only agreed with him, he felt like it was so spot on he quoted from the article and paraphrased it extensively. he's a little portion of bob costas's 90-second segment last night. let's take a listen to that. >> handguns do not enhance our safety. they exacerbate our flaws, tempt us to escalate arguments, and bait us into embracing confrontation rather than avoiding it. in the coming days, jovan belcher's actions and their possible connection to football will be analyzed. who knows. but here, wrote jason whitlock, is what i be
